What is Bite Plate?
A custom-fitted removable or fixed acrylic appliance positioned against the palate and front teeth.
General Purpose & Role in Treatment
Helps correct deep bite relationships, prevent lower teeth from impinging on the upper palatal tissue, and allow back teeth to erupt into proper alignment.
What The Patient Can Expect
Speech may feel slightly altered for the first 2–4 days as your tongue acclimates. Gentle pressure on the upper arch is normal.
